Overview
Jiedu Quyu Zishen Fang is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula used primarily for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). It is composed of multiple herbs and is designed to "clear toxins," "remove stasis," and "nourish the kidney" according to TCM theory. Clinical studies have shown that it can prevent and treat SLE, particularly in patients who are also receiving steroid therapy[1][3]. The mechanism of action involves modulation of immune responses, regulation of microRNAs related to inflammation and autoimmunity, as well as targeting molecular pathways such as STAT3, MAPK1, AKT1, HSP90AA1, and JUN[1][3].
