Jiedu Shengji is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation used for wound healing and tissue regeneration. It is available in various forms, including ointments (Gao) and decoctions for external washing. The formula is designed to clear heat, resolve toxins, and promote muscle growth (Shengji). It is currently being investigated in clinical trials for the treatment of deep partial-thickness burns and for promoting the healing of postoperative wounds following anal fistula surgery, particularly in patients with type 2 diabetes. Guangxi Huahong Pharmaceutical Group is developing a standardized ointment version (JDSJ ointment) which has reached Phase III clinical testing in China.
