Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jiedu Yuji Ointment is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical formulation developed by the Jiangsu Province Hospital on Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine. It is specifically indicated for the management of hand-foot skin reactions (HFSR) induced by targeted anti-cancer therapies, such as tyrosine kinase inhibitors (e.g., sorafenib, sunitinib). The ointment is designed to reduce inflammation, promote skin barrier repair, and alleviate symptoms such as erythema, edema, pain, and hyperkeratosis associated with HFSR. It is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in multicenter, randomized, controlled trials to validate its therapeutic efficacy and safety in oncology patients.
