Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jietongyin lotion (洁童阴洗剂) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) hospital-made preparation (院内制剂) developed by Beijing Children's Hospital, Capital Medical University. Formulated as an external wash or sitz bath, it is primarily used to treat pediatric vulvovaginitis, infantile vaginitis, vulvar eczema, and pruritus in young girls. The formulation contains active herbal ingredients such as *Sophora flavescens* (苦参) and *Prunella vulgaris* (夏枯草), which provide anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antipruritic effects. It is often used in combination with oral TCM regimens (such as Qinglisan) as an alternative to conventional antibiotics like amoxicillin.
