Jieyu Xifeng Decoction (also known as Shugan Jieyu Xifeng Decoction) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula developed by the Shanghai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily investigated for the treatment of insomnia disorder comorbid with anxiety disorder. The decoction is designed based on TCM principles to soothe the liver (Shugan), relieve depression (Jieyu), and extinguish wind (Xifeng). In clinical trial settings, it has been evaluated in randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials to assess its efficacy in improving sleep quality and reducing anxiety symptoms compared to a placebo control.
