Jing-yuan-kang (also referred to as Jin-yuan-kang) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) granule formulation investigated for the treatment of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). It is typically administered as an adjunctive therapy alongside standard platinum-based chemotherapy regimens, such as the PC protocol (pemetrexed and cisplatin). The drug is intended to improve the quality of life, manage clinical symptoms, and enhance the Karnofsky Performance Status (KPS) of patients undergoing cancer treatment. Preliminary studies suggest it may also have a curative effect on tumor volume progression in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients.
