Jingangteng Syrup (金刚藤糖浆) is an approved oral traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syrup derived from the rhizome of *Smilax china* (commonly known as China root or sarsaparilla). It is prepared via water extraction and alcohol precipitation of the plant. The syrup is primarily indicated for gynecological inflammatory conditions, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, and associated inflammatory masses. It has been designated as a 'National Protected Traditional Chinese Medicine Variety' in China. Jingangteng Syrup is administered orally and is marketed under various brands, including Anyao by Hubei Wushi Pharmaceutical and Furen by Hubei Furen Pharmaceutical.
