Overview
Jinghuaweikang capsule (JWC) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Chinese patent medicine approved in China for the treatment of gastritis and peptic ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection, including refractory cases. It is formulated from two botanical active ingredients: Dysphania ambrosioides (L.) Mosyakin & Clemants (chenopodium oil) and Adina pilulifera (Lam.) Franch. ex Drake. JWC exerts anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects by inhibiting H. pylori biofilm formation and regulating the NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways. It is commonly used in combination with conventional triple or quadruple therapy regimens to improve H. pylori eradication rates, particularly in patients with antibiotic-resistant or refractory infections.
