Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jingyin Heji is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) oral liquid formulation, originally developed as a hospital preparation by the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of wind-heat type common cold, influenza, and upper respiratory tract infections. The formulation is a combination of several botanical ingredients, including *Schizonepeta tenuifolia* (Jingjie), *Lonicera japonica* (Jinyinhua), and *Forsythia suspensa* (Lianqiao), which collectively exert antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral effects. It is widely recognized in China for its efficacy in relieving symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, and headache, and has been included in clinical guidelines for the management of viral respiratory diseases, particularly in the Beijing area.
