Jinhua Qinggan Granules (JHQG) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) developed by Juxiechang (Beijing) Pharmaceutical for the treatment of viral respiratory infections. Originally formulated during the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic, it is composed of 12 herbal ingredients, including *Lonicera japonica* (honeysuckle) and *Gypsum fibrosum*. The drug is indicated for "Wind-Heat" syndrome, characterized by fever, sore throat, and cough. It has received approval in China for the treatment of influenza and mild-to-moderate COVID-19, and has been studied in international clinical trials for acute upper respiratory tract infections. The formulation is designed to clear heat and detoxify the lungs, exerting both anti-viral and anti-inflammatory effects.
