Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jinji is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used for the treatment of gynecological inflammatory conditions, such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), adnexitis, and endometritis. Developed and manufactured by Guangxi Huasheng Pharmaceutical, the formulation is composed of six key herbal ingredients: *Caulis Spatholobi*, *Rosa laevigata* (Cherokee Rose Fruit), *Zanthoxylum nitidum*, *Andrographis paniculata*, *Milletia dielsiana*, and *Flemingia prostrata*. Pharmacologically, Jinji exhibits anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and analgesic properties. It is thought to work by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators, improving local blood circulation, and enhancing the body's immune response to infection. In China, it is a well-known over-the-counter (OTC) medication available in various oral forms, including granules, capsules, and tablets.
