Jinkui Zexie Decoction (also known as Zexie Tang) is a classic herbal formula originating from the ancient Chinese medical text *Jinkui Yaolue* (Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber). It primarily consists of two herbal components: *Alisma plantago-aquatica* (Zexie) and *Atractylodes macrocephala* (Baizhu). In modern clinical practice, it is being investigated by the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences for its efficacy in treating benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), specifically focusing on reducing symptom severity and recurrence rates through adaptive treatment strategies.
