Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jinnakumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β), developed by Changchun Jinsai Pharmaceutical (GenSci). It is designed to treat autoinflammatory conditions such as systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) and gouty arthritis by neutralizing IL-1β and preventing its binding to the IL-1 receptor. This inhibition blocks the pro-inflammatory cascade responsible for the systemic symptoms and joint destruction associated with these diseases. Jinnakumab is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in China to provide a targeted therapeutic option for patients with these conditions.
