Overview

Jinshengyuan is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) capsule developed by Shanghai ZuanZhi Biotechnology for the treatment of liver cirrhosis ascites. The formulation is specifically designed to address the TCM syndrome of liver stasis and spleen deficiency with water and dampness retention. It has been evaluated in a Phase II clinical trial (CTR20201765) to assess its efficacy and safety in reducing ascites and improving clinical symptoms in patients with liver cirrhosis, as well as to establish appropriate clinical dosing for further development.
