Jiuhua hemorrhoids suppository

Jiuhua hemorrhoids suppository is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by the Affiliated Hospital of the Hunan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and manufactured by Hunan Jiuhua Pharmaceutical. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of internal, external, and mixed hemorrhoids, as well as related conditions such as anal fissures and proctitis. The suppository is composed of several herbal ingredients, including *Radix Sanguisorbae* (Diyu), *Radix Angelicae Sinensis* (Danggui), *Radix Scutellariae* (Huangqin), *Coptis chinensis* (Huanglian), *Radix et Rhizoma Rhei* (Dahuang), and *Borneolum Syntheticum* (Bingpian). These components work synergistically to clear heat, detoxify, cool the blood to stop bleeding, and promote the healing of damaged tissues. Clinically, it is applied rectally to reduce symptoms such as anal swelling, pain, and hematochezia through local anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions.
