jivantyadi ghrita

Jivantyadi ghrita is a classical Ayurvedic medicated ghee formulation primarily used in the management of ophthalmic disorders (Netra Roga). It is composed of a base of cow's ghee infused with a variety of herbs, most notably Jivanti (Leptadenia reticulata), alongside Triphala (a combination of Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellirica, and Emblica officinalis), Pippali (Piper longum), and other botanical ingredients. In Ayurvedic practice, it is indicated for conditions such as early-stage cataracts (Timira), dry eye syndrome (Shushkakshipaka), and general vision improvement.
