Overview

JJGW07 is a novel arylpiperazine derivative of salicylamide. It acts as an antagonist at dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT1A receptors, and exhibits weak antagonistic properties at serotonin 5-HT2A and 5-HT7 receptors. JJGW07 shows antidepressant-like, anxiolytic-like, and antipsychotic-like effects in rodents, with anti-amnesic properties on long-term emotional memory. It does not impair motor coordination or induce catalepsy at antipsychotic-like doses.
