JKN2306 is an investigational, highly selective second-generation Nav1.8 inhibitor being developed by Joincare Pharmaceutical Group for the treatment of acute pain. As a voltage-gated sodium channel primarily expressed in peripheral sensory neurons, Nav1.8 is a key target for developing non-opioid and non-addictive analgesics. The drug is formulated as an oral tablet and is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile, including the impact of food on drug absorption in healthy volunteers.
