JKN2401

JKN2401 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα) subunit. By binding to IL-4Rα, JKN2401 inhibits the signaling of both interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), which are key drivers of Type 2 (Th2) inflammation. This pathway is central to the pathogenesis of several inflammatory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with an eosinophilic phenotype, asthma, and atopic dermatitis. Developed by Joincare Pharmaceutical Group (and its subsidiary Livzon Pharmaceutical Group), JKN2401 is currently being evaluated in Phase 3 clinical trials as a subcutaneous injection for the treatment of moderate-to-severe COPD, aiming to reduce the frequency of exacerbations and improve respiratory function. It is being developed as a biosimilar to dupilumab.
