Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JKN2404 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), developed by Joincare Pharmaceutical Group and its subsidiary Haibin Pharmaceutical. TSLP is an epithelial-derived cytokine that plays a pivotal role at the apex of the inflammatory cascade in asthma, triggering both eosinophilic and non-eosinophilic pathways. By binding to and neutralizing TSLP, JKN2404 prevents its interaction with the TSLP receptor complex, thereby inhibiting the release of downstream pro-inflammatory cytokines and reducing airway inflammation. The drug is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of bronchial asthma, offering a potential therapeutic option for patients with various asthma phenotypes, including those who do not respond well to traditional inhaled corticosteroids.
