Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JL104 is a preclinical dendritic cell (DC) vaccine developed by Baize (Shanghai Baize Medical Technology) for the treatment of solid tumors. This next-generation cell therapy utilizes a proprietary nucleic acid synthesis and delivery platform to engineer dendritic cells that present tumor-associated antigens while simultaneously secreting a bispecific nanobody targeting Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) and Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Associated Protein 4 (CTLA-4). By combining the antigen-presenting capabilities of DCs with the localized secretion of checkpoint inhibitors, JL104 is designed to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and enhance the systemic anti-tumor T-cell response. The asset is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
