Overview

JL1132 is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target the CD38 antigen, a protein highly expressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells and certain myeloid leukemia cells. Developed by Jilin Province Jianglin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., the therapy is primarily being evaluated for the treatment of various hematological malignancies, including relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). The treatment process involves engineering a patient's T cells to express a chimeric antigen receptor specific to CD38, which enables the T cells to directly recognize and eliminate CD38-positive tumor cells. JL1132 is currently in early-phase clinical development in China.
