JL15003 is an investigational oncolytic virus therapy developed by Jecho Biopharmaceuticals for the treatment of recurrent or relapsed glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). As a Category 1 therapeutic biological drug, it is designed for administration via a single intratumoral injection. The therapy works by selectively infecting and replicating within malignant glioma cells, leading to direct tumor cell lysis. This oncolytic process is intended to release tumor-associated antigens and damage-associated molecular patterns, which may subsequently stimulate a localized and systemic anti-tumor immune response. JL15003 is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, viral shedding, and preliminary efficacy in adult patients with recurrent glioblastoma.
