Overview

**JLP-1207** is an oral fixed-dose combination developed by Jeil Pharmaceutical containing solifenacin succinate 5 mg and tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.2 mg. It combines antimuscarinic inhibition of bladder detrusor contractions by solifenacin with alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blockade by tamsulosin to address lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia and potentially overactive bladder symptoms. Jeil evaluated the product in pharmacokinetic studies and a completed Phase 3 trial against tamsulosin monotherapy in men with lower urinary tract symptoms due to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
