Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JMB2003 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Jemincare that simultaneously targets Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). This dual-targeting approach is designed to provide synergistic anti-tumor activity by combining immune checkpoint inhibition with anti-angiogenic therapy. By blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 axis, JMB2003 aims to restore the anti-tumor immune response of T-cells, while its inhibition of VEGF disrupts tumor-associated angiogenesis, thereby reducing tumor blood supply and potentially improving the infiltration of immune cells into the tumor microenvironment. As of late 2023, JMB2003 has advanced into Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
