Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JMB2004 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Jemincare for the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is designed to target and neutralize Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin (TSLP), an epithelial-derived cytokine that acts as an upstream master regulator of airway inflammation. By blocking TSLP, JMB2004 inhibits the activation of multiple downstream inflammatory pathways, including type 2 (Th2) cytokines like IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13, as well as non-type 2 pathways. This broad anti-inflammatory approach aims to reduce airway hyperresponsiveness and exacerbations in patients with severe or uncontrolled respiratory conditions.
