Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JMN-2205 is an investigational, orally administered small molecule androgen receptor N-terminal domain (AR-NTD) inhibitor being developed by Jeyou Pharma and its subsidiary Hangyu Pharmaceutical for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Unlike conventional androgen receptor inhibitors that target the ligand-binding domain (AR-LBD), JMN-2205 binds to a unique site on the N-terminal domain to block the receptor from translocating into the nucleus and initiating transcription. This differentiated mechanism allows JMN-2205 to overcome resistance associated with AR mutations and splice variants, such as AR-V7. In October 2026, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China approved the clinical trial application (IND) for JMN-2205 tablets.
