Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**JN-101** is a preclinical, non-viral synthetic oligonucleotide combination therapy developed by Jaan Biotherapeutics for ischemic heart disease, including treatment following myocardial infarction. It comprises inhibitors directed against four conserved microRNAs—miR-100, miR-99, let-7a, and let-7c—with the goal of reactivating an endogenous fetal-like cardiac regeneration program in adult myocardium. In murine ischemic-injury models, the approach has been reported to promote cardiomyocyte dedifferentiation and proliferation, reduce adverse ventricular remodeling, and improve cardiac wall motion.
