JNJ-75229414 is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy developed for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. The therapy consists of autologous T lymphocytes genetically modified to express a chimeric antigen receptor targeting human kallikrein-related peptidase 2 (KLK2), a protein expressed on prostate tumor cells. By redirecting the patient’s own immune cells to recognize and attack KLK2-expressing cancer cells, JNJ-75229414 aims to stimulate an antitumor immune response and exert cytotoxic effects against prostate cancer. This agent is being developed by Janssen Research & Development/Johnson & Johnson and has been evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials for patients with advanced or metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer[1][2][3][5][7].
