Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JNJ-8899837 is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue Lymphoma Translocation Protein 1 (MALT1). MALT1 is a paracaspase that plays a critical role in the NF-κB signaling pathway, which is frequently dysregulated in B-cell malignancies. By inhibiting MALT1 protease activity, JNJ-8899837 aims to suppress the survival and proliferation of malignant B-cells. It is currently being developed by Johnson & Johnson for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
