Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JNJ-95597528 is an investigational anti-inflammatory and antiasthmatic small-molecule–like new molecular entity being developed by Janssen-Cilag and Janssen Research & Development for immune-mediated diseases, including asthma, atopic dermatitis, and other autoimmune or inflammatory skin disorders.[6][9] It is in early clinical development, with first-in-human and multiple Phase 1 studies evaluating safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in healthy volunteers, patients with asthma, and adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis.[3][4][5][6][8][9] The precise molecular target and mechanism of action have not yet been disclosed and are currently described as an undefined mechanism of action within the general classes of anti-inflammatories, antiasthmatics, and skin disorder therapies.[6][10]
