Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**JNP-0101** is an investigational intravaginal ring (IVR) formulation of oxybutynin, an antimuscarinic agent that decreases bladder muscle spasms to treat overactive bladder (OAB) in women. Developed using proprietary multi-segment IVR technology, it enables localized absorption via shared vascular and lymphatic networks of the vagina and bladder, aiming to achieve higher concentrations in target tissues while minimizing systemic side effects and hepatic first-pass metabolism compared to oral oxybutynin.[1][3][7]
