Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JRF102 is a small molecule inhibitor of MAPK-activated protein kinase 2 (MK2) being developed by Shenzhen Jinruijiye Biotechnology for the treatment of solid tumors. MK2 is a serine/threonine kinase that acts as a downstream effector of the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, playing a critical role in the regulation of inflammatory cytokines and the cellular response to DNA damage. By inhibiting MK2, JRF102 aims to suppress tumor growth and modulate the inflammatory environment within the tumor microenvironment. The drug is currently in early-stage clinical development, with its status indicated as Preclinical/Phase 1 in the company's 2024-2026 development roadmap.
