Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JS001 + XELOX is a combination therapy consisting of **JS001 (toripalimab)**, a monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-1, plus the **XELOX regimen**, which combines **capecitabine** (an oral prodrug of 5-fluorouracil) and **oxaliplatin** (a platinum-based cytotoxic agent). XELOX (also known as CAPOX) is widely used as chemotherapy for advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer, as well as other gastrointestinal cancers. JS001 (toripalimab) acts by inhibiting the PD-1 immune checkpoint pathway, thereby promoting T-cell mediated immune responses against tumor cells. This combination aims to leverage both the cytotoxic effects of XELOX and the immune-activating mechanism of JS001 for synergistic anti-cancer effects.
