Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JS013 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets Angiopoietin-2 (Ang2), a protein involved in angiogenesis and vascular remodeling. Developed by Junshi Biosciences, JS013 is designed to inhibit the binding of Ang2 to its receptor, Tie2, thereby suppressing tumor-associated angiogenesis, promoting vascular normalization, and potentially enhancing the delivery and efficacy of concurrent therapies. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, both as a monotherapy and in combination with the PD-1 inhibitor toripalimab. The drug aims to modulate the tumor microenvironment by stabilizing tumor vasculature and reducing vascular permeability, which are key factors in tumor growth and metastasis.
