Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JS017 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a protein frequently overexpressed in various gastrointestinal cancers, including gastric, esophageal, and pancreatic tumors. Developed by TopAlliance Biosciences (Junshi Biosciences), JS017 consists of a monoclonal antibody specific to CLDN18.2 conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. Upon binding to CLDN18.2 on the surface of tumor cells, the ADC is internalized, and the payload is released to induce cell death. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies.
