Overview

JS120 is a potent, small molecule inhibitor of mutant isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1), an enzyme frequently mutated in various cancers including gliomas, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and cholangiocarcinoma. Developed by Wigen Biomedicine and licensed to Junshi Biosciences, JS120 aims to block the production of the oncometabolite 2-hydroxyglutarate (2-HG), which is responsible for epigenetic dysregulation and impaired cellular differentiation in IDH1-mutant cells. The drug is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors harboring IDH1 mutations.
