Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JS205 is an investigational recombinant humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Junshi Biosciences in collaboration with Coherus BioSciences. It is designed to simultaneously target Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). By blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, JS205 aims to restore and enhance T-cell-mediated anti-tumor immune responses. Concurrently, by neutralizing VEGF, it inhibits tumor angiogenesis and helps normalize the tumor vasculature, which can reduce immunosuppression within the tumor microenvironment. This dual-targeting approach is intended to provide synergistic therapeutic effects and potentially overcome resistance to conventional PD-1 monotherapies in patients with advanced malignant solid tumors.
