JS213 is an investigational bispecific antibody fusion protein developed by Junshi Biosciences for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors. It is designed to simultaneously target the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) receptor and the Interleukin-2 (IL-2) signaling pathway. By blocking the PD-1 checkpoint, JS213 alleviates the inhibition of T-cell activation, while the IL-2 component acts as a cytokine agonist to promote the proliferation and effector function of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. This dual immunomodulatory approach aims to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and enhance anti-tumor efficacy compared to monotherapy. As of 2025, the drug is in Phase I/II clinical development.
