Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JS214 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Junshi Biosciences that simultaneously targets Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) and Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-β). This dual-targeting approach is designed to inhibit tumor angiogenesis by blocking VEGF signaling while simultaneously neutralizing the immunosuppressive effects of TGF-β within the tumor microenvironment. By addressing these two key pathways of tumor progression and immune evasion, JS214 aims to provide enhanced therapeutic efficacy in patients with advanced solid tumors. The drug is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials to determine its safety, tolerability, and preliminary anti-tumor activity.
