Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JTM104 is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler containing lidocaine, developed by the South Korean company Jetema Co., Ltd. It is formulated with a total hyaluronic acid concentration of 24 mg/mL (consisting of 22.8 mg/mL cross-linked HA and 1.2 mg/mL non-cross-linked HA) and 3 mg/mL lidocaine hydrochloride. The product is primarily indicated for the temporary correction of moderate to severe nasolabial folds and facial wrinkles in adults. It functions by providing immediate physical volume to the dermis and utilizing the hygroscopic properties of hyaluronic acid to maintain hydration and structural support in the skin tissue. The inclusion of lidocaine serves as a local anesthetic to minimize injection-related pain. JTM104 has been evaluated in pivotal clinical trials to demonstrate non-inferiority in efficacy and safety compared to established fillers such as Juvederm® ULTRA PLUS XC.
