Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Junior-angin N is a medical device and herbal product developed by MCM Klosterfrau Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH for the relief of sore throat, hoarseness, and irritation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa, specifically formulated for children and adolescents. It is available in two forms: Junior-angin N Sirup (syrup) and Junior-angin N Lutschtabletten (lozenges). The active components include Icelandic moss extract (Lichen islandicus), mallow flower extract, and zinc gluconate. These ingredients contain mucilaginous substances that form a physical, protective film over the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, shielding them from further irritation and allowing them to recover. The product is free from alcohol, sugar, artificial colorants, lactose, and gluten.
