Overview

JUV-162 is a preclinical biologic candidate being developed by Juvena Therapeutics for the treatment of obesity and weight loss. The drug was discovered using Juvena's proprietary JuvNet platform, an AI-driven drug discovery engine that maps the human secretome to identify therapeutic proteins with regenerative and metabolic potential. JUV-162 is a recombinant version of a naturally occurring human secreted protein that plays a role in metabolic regulation. By leveraging these endogenous signaling pathways, JUV-162 aims to provide a novel therapeutic approach for weight management and the improvement of metabolic health in patients with obesity. The program is currently in the discovery and preclinical stages of development.
