Juveena is an investigational intrauterine hydrogel system designed as a temporary implant to prevent the formation or reformation of intrauterine adhesions (IUAs), which can occur after transcervical gynecological procedures such as myomectomy or adhesiolysis. The system consists of a proprietary transcervical catheter and two liquid precursors that form a soft hydrogel—composed of over 90% water and polyethylene glycol (PEG)—which fills the uterine cavity to physically separate the uterine walls during healing. The hydrogel gradually breaks down and is naturally cleared from the body within 2–3 weeks, eliminating the need for removal. Developed by Rejoni, Inc., this device aims to address complications like Asherman's Syndrome and has also been studied for temporary control of heavy menstrual bleeding in women with chronic ovulatory HMB[1][2][3][7][9].
