Overview

JV-213 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy that targets CD79b, a component of the B-cell antigen receptor complex. It is designed to treat adults with relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphomas by engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR specific for CD79b. Upon administration, these modified T cells selectively bind to and induce cytotoxicity in CD79b-expressing tumor cells. The therapy is currently being evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy. This is the first-in-human study of this product and it has not yet been approved or commercially released[1][2][3][4][5][6][8][9].
