Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JV301 is an adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based gene therapy candidate developed by Juvensis Therapeutics for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. It utilizes precision telomere regulation technology to target the telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) pathway. By delivering the TERT gene or modulating telomerase activity, JV301 aims to counteract cellular senescence and telomere shortening, which are implicated in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders. The program is currently in the early discovery and preclinical stages of development.
