Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JW 1-3 is a series of investigational test compounds developed by Derphartox for the treatment of psoriasis. These compounds have been evaluated in a humanized psoriasis transplant model (xenotransplantation model) in the Netherlands to assess their effects on typical psoriatic skin features, such as epidermal ridge thickness. The study aims to identify the most effective compound, formulation, and dose among the JW 1-3 candidates to guide future clinical development. The exact molecular targets and mechanisms of action of the JW 1-3 compounds have not been publicly disclosed, but they are designed to target the underlying inflammatory processes and abnormal cell division characteristic of psoriasis.
