JW 2 is a preclinical test compound developed by Derphartox for the treatment of psoriasis. It was evaluated alongside JW 1 and JW 3 in a specialized human skin transplant model of psoriasis, which involves grafting human psoriatic skin onto immune-deficient mice (such as BNX mice). Derphartox, a Dutch contract research organization, utilized this model to assess the efficacy of these compounds in reducing typical psoriatic features, including epidermal thickness and keratinocyte proliferation. While the exact chemical structure and molecular target of the JW series are not widely disclosed in public clinical literature, they represent a series of experimental agents investigated for their anti-psoriatic potential in advanced preclinical skin disease models.
