Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JW-C (also known as JW06) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Juventas Cell Therapy. It is engineered to simultaneously target the gangliosides GD2 and GD3, which are tumor-associated antigens frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including neuroblastoma, sarcomas, and small cell lung cancer (SCLC). By utilizing a dual-targeting approach, JW-C is designed to enhance anti-tumor efficacy and mitigate the risk of immune evasion caused by antigen heterogeneity or loss, a common challenge in treating solid malignancies with cell therapies. The product is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China for patients with advanced solid tumors.
