Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JW-C2 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Juventas Cell Therapy for the treatment of solid tumors, specifically breast cancer. The therapy is engineered to dual-target the disialogangliosides GD2 and GD3, which are oncogenic antigens frequently overexpressed in breast cancer cells. By utilizing a dual-targeting strategy, JW-C2 aims to overcome tumor heterogeneity and reduce the likelihood of antigen escape, thereby enhancing the durability and efficacy of the anti-tumor immune response. It is part of Juventas' broader pipeline of innovative cellular products targeting both hematological and solid malignancies.
